The 2010, Limited 2018 RE is a 18.08 foot inboard/outboard boat. The weight of the boat is 1725 lbs. Which does not include passengers, aftermarket boating accessories, or fuel. Q: What kind of safety gear should my boat have?

A: As the owner, you are responsible for equipping your boat with all the required safety gear. Check both local and state regulations and call the U.S. Coast Guard Safety Hotline at 800-369-5647 for additional information and on required safety equipment. Minimum requirements include:

  • Personal Flotation Devices (PFD). Check local and state regulations for restrictions.

  • Fire Extinguisher

  • Visual Distress Signal

  • Navigation Lights

  • Horn

  • Throwable Life Buoy

Q: Can I get replacement decals?

A: Decals are considered parts and must be ordered through a local dealer. We may not have decals for boats that are no longer in production but there are many after market companies that they could be ordered from on line.

Q: How do I choose an appropriate prop for my boat?

A: Check the engine manufacturer’s websites for online prop selection recommendations.

Q: Where is my hull ID located?

A: The hull identification number (HIN) on all boats built after November 1, 1972 is permanently affixed to the rear of the transom usually on the upper right corner. It is required by federal law and must appear on the registration application.

Q: I am the second owner of a Starcraft boat. Am I covered under the Lifetime Plus 6 Warranty?

A: 2nd owners do not have any warranty unless the boat is a 2012 or newer boat that had a transferable warranty and they have paid the transfer fee if applicable.

Q: How do I transfer warranty to a second owner?

A: All 2012 and newer boats are available to have the warranty transferred to the second owner. To do so please fill out the appropriate form:

Q: Do I have to register my boat?

A: In most states, boats equipped with an engine of any type must be registered in the state of main usage.

In some areas, the Coast Guard retains registration authority. Your Starcraft Marine/SmokerCraft Inc. dealer will either have the necessary forms or will be able to instruct you on the procedure for registering your craft. All registration numbers and validation stickers must be displayed according to the issuing agency. The agency will also issue a certificate that must be aboard your SmokerCraft, Inc. boat at all times.

Q: Can I buy a boat directly from the factory?

A: Smoker Craft, Inc. boats are only sold through authorized dealers. We feel it is important that the customer establish a relationship with the dealer that can meet their needs not only in sales but in service and customer care as well.

Q: Can I order a part or accessory for my boat directly from the factory?

A: Parts and accessories are available through our extensive dealer network. We feel that it is important for the customer to establish a relationship with the dealer who will be able to meet all their sales and service needs.

Q: Can I order new canvas for my bimini for my boat?

A: Your dealer can get canvas for boats which are 6 years old or newer. For canvas work on older boats, we recommend contacting a local canvas shop.

Q: How do I order a replacement windshield?

A: Your windshield can be replaced as a whole piece and your local dealer can order you that part for your boat. All parts orders must be placed through a dealer.
